Trafficking Resources

The Alamo Area Coalition Against Trafficking works to eradicate human trafficking in  Bexar County and its surrounding counties.

Ransomed Life aims to equip and empower exploited youth to experience personal freedom and purpose by providing counseling and mentoring as well as seeking prevention methods. 

The Coalition to Combat Trafficking is a nonprofit organization that partners with other organizations and individuals to make a strong, measurable impact on the people subjected to and affected by trafficking. 

3rd Millenium Classrooms Texas Businesses Against Trafficking aims to eliminate products or services that could potentially be produced through forced labor.

The City of San Antonio provides resources to report suspicions of trafficking, as well as general public service announcements with more language accessibility (available in French, Arabic, Tagalog, Spanish, Russian, and German).

Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Services

The Bexar County DA's Office provides resources for victims of family violence and/or domestic violence in Bexar County.

The Magdalena House is a transitional home for mothers and children who have fled abusive situations, providing education, community, and programs to help.

Bexar County Family Justice provides services to victims of domestic violence and their families, including crisis intervention, legal aid, protective orders, family and personal services, healthcare, and counseling.

The Putting an End to Abuse through Community Effort Initiative aims to educate the community on the extent of domestic violence consequences through education, training, and advocacy.

The Collaborative Commission on Domestic Violence employs a public health approach to domestic violence, convening local government, judiciary, law enforcement, prosecution, non-profits, and healthcare agencies to reduce domestic violence.

The Rape Crisis Center supports those impacted by sexual violence in the San Antonio area, providing trauma-informed, person-centered, prevention-based resources.

Resources for At-Risk Youth

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas provides at-risk children with consistent, professionally supported one-on-one mentoring.

Roy Maas' helps children in crisis by promoting individual success and healthy relationships in a safe environment, providing emergency shelter, long-term residential services, and more.

ChildSafe serves as the sole Children's Advocacy Center in Bexar County, providing trauma focused care for victims of child abuse/neglect and their non-offending family members.

Haven for Hope's Thrive Youth Center provides emergency shelter specifically for LGBTQ+ young adults (18-24), offering education services, legal services, mental health resources, and more.

The Healy-Murphy Center provides teens struggling in traditional school environments with individualized attention, curriculum, counseling, childcare, and health services.

Rise Recovery helps teens, young adults, and families overcome the effects of drugs and alcohol addiction, providing a community center, year-round programming, professional trainings, and more.

Immigrant Services

The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services provides pro bono affirmative, defensive, and litigation services for low-income immigrants; families and children in detention; asylum seekers; and DACA individuals.

Endeavors provides migrant wellness support, case management, holistic programming for unaccompanied migrant children and families, and human trafficking and victim education.

The Migrant Center for Human Rights aims to advance the human rights of all migrants by increasing legal knowledge and access to legal services as well as providing aid for asylum seekers and victims of unjustified detention.

The Lone Star Victims Advocacy Project provides pro bono immigration legal services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, focusing on aiding individuals in rural communities throughout Texas.
